We’re located just outside the East Jasper National Park Gates. We love that we are removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Jasper and the crowded tourist attractions. The drive is beautiful and there is a very good chance you will see many different forms of wildlife - make sure to have your camera ready!

Lodge Directions

Driving Directions From Edmonton ~ Approximately 3 Hours

  • Head West on the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16) for approximately 3 hours.
  • Pass through the town of Hinton and continue West for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Once you pass the Jasper Gates Resort (on your left), we are just around the next bend.
  • The turnoff to the Overlander Mountain Lodge is located on the right (north) side of the highway.
  • If you hit the Jasper National Park Gates, You've gone about 2 minutes too far!

Driving Directions From Calgary Via Banff & Columbia Icefields (the Scenic Route) ~ Approximately 6 hours

  • Head West on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1).
  • Continue through Banff and Lake Louise.
  • Approximately 10 minutes after Lake Louise, turn North along Highway 93 and continue for approximately 2.5 hours.
  • There are many beautiful stops along the way, including the Columbia Icefields
  • When you reach Jasper, head East on the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16) and continue for 30 minutes.
  • 2 minutes after exiting the Jasper National Park Gates, The Overlander Mountain Lodge will be located on the left (north) side of the Highway.

No, it is open from 7 am - 11:30 pm.

Yes, we provide luggage storage.

Yes, throughout the property.

It is based on guest requests (Breakfast is 7am-11am & Dinner from 5pm – 9pm).

We do have options for pet friendly accommodations. The pet charge is $25/day.

Yes. If a guest does not have a credit card, a $500 deposit will be taken over the room and taxes.

Complimentary parking throughout the property. All of our chalet’s have private parking at the chalet.

Yes, based on availability – $50 for late check out request until 2pm and $100 for a 4pm check out request.

Yes, we do have accessible options.

Yes - Overland Mountain Lodge has room accommodations for pets. The pet fee is $25/day.
